Boy 20 years!! Life goes by fast but It's still the good life. After Miramonte I attended UC Davis and there I meet my future wife. We have two beautiful kids. A 9/mos Boy Nicholas and a 4 year girl Natalie: After Uc Davis I moved back to Orinda (free rent) for two years , then eventually got married in 1997 and lived in Walnut Creek and then moved out to Morgan Hill in the South Bay. Right after Davis I got into the mortgage business and in 1999 started my own company Global Mortgage (Residential lending). Now I am a broker and I love working for myself: Lots of flexible time. Anyone live in the south bay? I still miss the east bay but for now it's great. See you soon at the reunion.

Wow! Miramonte seems lifetimes away...After graduating from CU with a BS in International Relations, I moved back to the Bay Area to work for a French bank. There I met my (French) husband. We've been living and working in Europe for the past 14 years in Paris, London, Brussels and now Berlin. We have two boys ages 10 and 7. I hope to be able to attend the reunion, but as of today, I don't know what part of the world I'll be living in September!!!

I never thought I'd be doing this -- OOPS! That's the opening for match.com ;-) Besides being old, fat and bald, life is great... and I plan on losing 100 lbs by the reunion. I look forward to catching up with everyone. Sounds like a fun reunion weekend! I hope Erik Armer makes it, and I hope he's wildly successful... Any other Mats in the Sacramento area?

Hi All! After graduating from UC Riverside in ’91 I came back to the Bay Area and worked for a small computer network integrator for eight years. I met my wife Jennifer, a talented graphic artist, while bike riding through Yellowstone Park. During a week long mountain bike ride on the White Rim Trail in Moab, Utah, I proposed. We married in 2001 in Tahoe and spent the next 4 months traveling around the world. Our son Thomas will turn 4 this month and we are expecting our second child in February. When we are not in Tahoe we are living in San Rafael.

20 years already?! I received my BA in psychology in 91 and spent 7 years as a counselor in group homes for troubled youth. became a personal trainer in 96' and CMT in 99. I see all ages, but specialize in the older adult 65+ w/(heart conditions/stroke rehab/MS/etc. The hardest job there is - raising your children! Married my best friend and love of my life Sharon in 97' (she is a Nurse Practioner at UCSF) and we have 2 children; Lucas 3 and Sara Sage 17mo. Life has brought many challenges and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am truely blessed

Thank you, Erik Friedman. I live on the north shore of Maui with my two children, ages 4 and 7, and run an independent book publishing company that focuses on women's issues, the environment, progressive politics and spiritual and personal growth. I am technically married, although with the blossoming midlife crisis, it's up in the air. My kids are the biggest priority in my life, but after that it would be world peace, saving the environment, political activism, balancing out our patriarchal world with female leadership and values, thinking Jessica Grant is outstanding for busting Wal-Mart's chops, and going to Sweat Your Prayers regularly. Finally, in might need to be said that despite living in Maui, I am not a committed pot smoker, but I do surf and windsurf better than my 4-year-old but not as well as my 7-year-old. Much love to all!

I guess I liked school so much that I never figured out how to leave it! Got a BA in political science from the University of Chicago, MA and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, taught for a couple of years at the University of Illinois, and then some fool offered me the chance to influence young minds at Harvard, where I've been teaching for six years. I specialize in conflict research that utilizes statistics, and I've published multiple articles on the subject, including an original statistical estimator -- a fact that would make Mr. Sheppie drop dead of shock, if he ever found out. Happily married to a lovely and talented girl who has worked as a chef (hence my weight gain) and currently works in retail at Barneys New York. Life is very good, though I have to admit, every time I return to the Bay Area, the smell of eucalyptus makes me misty-eyed.

Fortunately life has progressed and I am still here amidst challenges, loss, lessons learned, traveling, schooling, illness, growing up (Am I an adult now?) and I am grateful. In the last three years I have finally begin to embody what I love to do! I feel so grateful and blessed to have taken my rich life experience (yes, all of it) learned from it and used it to motivate people to change their lives for the better. My passion is teaching and speaking to people (especially women) who may be feeling stuck, depressed, overwhelmed or empty and motivating them to change their lives for the better and feel happier, if that’s what they’re wanting. After years of successfully being hard on myself, and judging myself and others I realized that I had choices, and creating struggle then feeling depleted wasn’t at the top of the list anymore. When I started to love and appreciate myself more everything in my life got better. I am happy to know what my gifts are and be able to offer them to others. We’re all here together so it’s great when we can support and help one another with what we do best. It will be great to see all of you and connect again! I am living in Santa Cruz where I have lived since 1995. Although I am no longer in an intimate relationship with their father I have three step-sons, two of which I raised. I am so blessed to have them in my life, deep heart connections with others are so precious!

Say what you will about the sheltered, or even snobbish, aspects of growing up in Lamorinda, but I guarantee that all who visit this reunion page do so knowing it was a great privilege to have spent their formative years at MHS. (If that statement doesn't resonate with you, you apparently never left.) Did we have fun, or what? As for me, I started at SDSU and finished up studying International Relations at American University in DC. Traveling and learning languages and cultures across Europe was great. I met my wife, Monique, at AU and we've now been married nearly 12 years. We have 4, count 'em, FOUR, daughters! Ages 6, 4, 2, and 6 months. I think we're done. It's clear that I'll be coaching the girls teams! I absolutely love my wife and kids - I'm very lucky! We currently live in Concord. I've been working for Schwab in SF for the past 11 years and am now a portfolio manager and trader for our equity index mutual funds. It's a living, but the idealist buried somewhere inside me is still trying to figure out how to save the world. I tip my cap to those of you who are.
